Rosemarie’s Story: Rebuilding Through Fitness

Sometimes, you’re doing “all the right things”, going to gym, eating fairly well, staying active, and yet something still feels missing.

From the outside, it looked like she was doing everything right. But inside, something still felt off.

That’s where Rosemarie found herself before starting the EmpowHER Transformation, before losing 6kg in 6 weeks.

By mid-2025, Rosemarie found herself stuck. Six months at the same weight. Average energy during the day, crashes in the afternoon, restless sleep, and a demanding job that constantly came before herself. Mentally and emotionally, she wasn’t in a good space- and she was on antidepressants.

She knew she needed a reset.

Not another diet.

Not another burst of motivation.

In August 2025, she named her intention clearly:

Rebuilding Through Fitness.

She just didn’t yet know how.

Why Rosemarie Joined EmpowHER

The EmpowHER Transformation was originally designed for moms, but Rosemarie was invited into the program as a trial.

The question we wanted to answer was simple but important:

Could the same structure, habit coaching, and accountability work for women beyond motherhood?

Rosemarie said yes.

“I worried about getting stuck on small details, not seeing progress, or work getting in the way and giving up.”

Her confidence going in sat at a 4 or 5 out of 10, depending on the chaos of her day, her energy levels, and the convenience of food.

Still, she committed, because she believed the missing piece might be found in consistency, not intensity.

Where Everything Began to Change

The turning point wasn’t the workouts.

It was structure. Scheduled grocery shopping. Weekly meal preparation, just like it was scheduled in the program.

Simple, repeatable habits that removed decision making from her week.

“At first, I needed reminders to meal prep. Now, it’s just part of my Sunday.”

As a self-described perfectionist and overthinker, Rosemarie struggled with some of these habits, and letting go of the idea that everything had to be perfect. There were moments of frustration, adjusting meals, analysing calories, questioning herself.

But instead of quitting, she learned.

And that’s where discipline showed up.

“Discipline and consistency go hand in hand. Even when I didn’t want to prep, I knew skipping it would pull me back into old habits.”

The Results That Spoke Softly. Then Loudly

The changes didn’t arrive with fireworks.

First, her rings became loose. Then her clothes started fitting differently. Then workouts felt stronger.

By the end of six weeks, Rosemarie had lost 6kg, but that wasn’t the result that mattered most.

“I used my clothes and how I felt to measure progress. The scale isn’t as scary anymore.”

Her energy shifted completely. Afternoon crashes disappeared. She trained 3–4 times a week, continued hiking, and even began jogging — something she previously couldn’t sustain for more than 15 seconds.

But the most meaningful change happened beyond the gym.

For the first time in a long time, Rosemarie gave herself permission to slow down.

“During this program, I learned to be selfish, and I don’t feel guilty anymore.”

Those small, disciplined habits in the program helped her rebuild balance, reconnect with herself, and restore her mental and emotional wellbeing.

And then came the sentence that changes everything:

She is no longer on antidepressants.

What Stayed With Her

The program ended, but the habits didn’t.

“A wellness journey takes time. If you’re willing to put in the work, the benefits are for life.”

Because of the 6 week Program, Rosemarie now understands how to fuel her body, how to adjust when life happens, and how to return to structure instead of spiralling into guilt.

Her confidence returned- not loudly, but steadily.

“I found what was missing, my confidence.”

Her Message to Other Women

“This is not another weight-loss program.

It gives you tools, guidance, and support to make smart choices that improve your lifestyle and help you find balance again. The benefits don’t stop when the program ends, it’s just the beginning.”

-Rosemarie

Why Her Story Matters

Rosemarie’s journey confirmed something powerful:

When women are given structure, habit coaching, and support, transformation becomes sustainable.

That’s why Project Discipline exists.

Not as a quick fix.

Not as an extreme approach.

But as a space for women who are ready to rebuild themselves, one disciplined habit at a time.

Start your Transformation this March and write your success story like Rosemarie and many others.
